This site has many SMARTboard lessons for 3rd grade in reading, math, science, social studies and music. It is organized by subject area and has different lessons to choose from!
Between the Lions
This site contains many short animated educational video clips! Looking for a short movie to teach prefixes--this is your site! It also has games and short stories.
This site contains short (2-3 minute) educational movies for kids. There is a fee to join, but the site does offer some of the movies for free. I used this frequently in my classroom. The movies are very short and are animated.
This is an award winning education resource for grades K-3. It contains lesson plans, videos, graphic organizers and professional development tools.

This website contains great literacy activities for all of the 5 Big Areas in Reading. There are ideas as well as TONS of printables. Check it out!
e-Learning for Kids
This is GREAT website full of lots of interactive lessons. There are lessons in most subject areas for grades K-6. It is very well organized and easy to navigate!
This will connect you to the Florida Center for Reading Research - an awesome resource for ready-made literacy center activities. Once there, click on the TEACHERS link on the left. The under Curriculum and Instruction clink on the Literacy Center Link for your appropriate grade level and you'll find already-made activities that fit with all of our literacy skills. It's a GREAT Resource!
Internet 4 Classrooms
A FREE website designed to help teachers find high-quality, free internet resources to use in their classroom. You can find all kinds of online games to play based on grade level and subject area.
Jan Brett's website contains many useful classroom resources as well as printable activities for most of her books. There are also some interactive activities for kids on there too. She gives a link where students can write to her - and she usually respons very quickly!
Living the Life of a Reader and Writer
This is an excellent resource for structuring an effective Reading and Writing Workshop. There are short movies of individual and small group reading and writing conferences, sample daily schedules and management ideas.
Love FREE Fonts--this is a GREAT site!
This site contains tons of FREE downloadable fonts. It's very user friendly. You can download one font or download them all in one easy click! Just download the fonts. Open your hard drive, drag and drop them into your fonts library. Then restart your computer. If you need help, just let me know!

Scholastic Interactive Lessons
Scholastic has many pre-made SMARTboard lessons that are really good and very student friendly. They have some really good phonics and math lessons!
Find 1,000's of ready made SMARTboard lessons! You can search by subject or grade level. I like this site because you can preview the lesson before you download it. This is a great site--I use it all the time!
A GREAT way to incorporate technology in your classroom! Students can listen to some of their favorite stories read by some of their favorite TV and Movie Stars! The site also provides printable activity guides for each story.
This is another site that has a ton of resources for all subject areas - lots of printables and ideas! It is a teacher-made site where she shares resources that she has used in her classroom.
This website also contains a lot of ideas - Some of the materials are for sale, but there are a lot of freebies on here! It's a great resource for when you're planning a thematic unit. If you're looking for Reader's Theater scripts, this is good resource.
