1. If you failed a graduation requirement first semester, or know that you may fail a graduation requirement this semester, we now have summer school applications available for East Alton Wood River High School and Collinsville High School.  It is your responsibility to see your school counselor for a summer school application. Summer courses must be approved by your counselor.  Please stop by the Counseling Office if you are interested in staying on track for graduation!

 

2. If you received an A- average or better during the first semester of this school year, you may stop by the Counseling Office and receive a voucher to be reimbursed for 2 tickets to a 2013 St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.

 

3. ALL students need to check the D.E. Store window to see if you are on any of the Money Owed lists!

 

4. All library books are now overdue!  PLEASE return them and pay late charges, or pay for lost books.  These charges do NOT go away.

 

5. If you would like to ride free on any MCT fixed route bus all summer long, pick up a Summer Youth Pass in the office!

 

6. Lewis and Clark Psychology 131 and English 131 students should check Mrs. Wiest's webpage for important information regarding textbooks for the fall.

 

7. Student Council members who wish to have a council t-shirt for next year need to place their order by May 27th.  Order forms can be found on the bulletin board in Room 216.

 

8. Let El Mezcal cook your family’s dinner next Tuesday, May 21st!  The Sophomore class is holding a fundraiser where they will receive a portion of the profits from El Mezcal’s sales that night.  Make sure you tell your server that you are there to support the Sophomore class!

 

9. Attention Drama Club: We will have a short meeting on Tuesday, May 21, in Mrs. Koch's room at 8:20 a.m. to vote on next year's play. Please make sure that you are in attendance if you plan on participating in the play. We will be taking attendance and discussing the dates of a new audition camp, auditions for the play, and the performance nights.

 

10.  The JV girls' softball team will turn in their uniforms today. Please bring everything with you.....jersey, pants, and belt.

 

11. Attention students that turned in a Student Leader Form:  Please check your gmail.  Each of you have been sent an email letting you know if and when you are scheduled to work.

 

12. Any JV or Varsity baseball player that is planning on playing Jr or Sr Legion baseball this summer, there will be an informational meeting today at the sports complex right after school.

 

13. Mrs. Gowin would like to congratulate the Trap Shooting Team on their win over Triad last night to make it an undefeated season 18-0!  Awesome job!  Also congratulations to the “A” Team on their win last night!

 

14.  Congratulations to the 2013-2014 Marching Eagles Drum Majors – Abby Cline and Hannah Jones!  Thanks to everyone for trying out!

 

15. Congratulations to the newest members of the 2013-14 CMHS Golden Illusion Colorguard:  Captain – Kelly Klein and also Samantha Klein, Michelle Eippert, MeKel McDaniel, MaKaylah Cole, Natalie Gould, Jessica cooper and Katelyn Cole.  Please note:  There will be a meeting this coming WEDNESDAY, MAY 22 from 3:30 - 4:30 in the CM Commons for all new members regarding the summer / fall schedule, uniforms, required materials, etc.  Please contact Hoke if you cannot make it.

 

16.  Students:  Remember to just let it BE – BE Respectful, BE Responsible & BE Safe.
