 TAR WARS! All 4th grade students were involved in a program called TARWARS an anti-smoking education program. The students learned about the negative effects of smoking and the Positive effects of not smoking. The students were then asked to make a poster about the POSITIVE effects of not smoking. Pictured are the 4 winners ( 1 from each classroom). the posters will be presented at the board meeting on Monday night and 1 winning poster from Meadowbrook and Bethalto West will be picked and sent onto the State poster contest to be held in April. The winning students were: Gracelin Rushing- Mrs. Catanzaro Skylar King- Mrs. Cooper Cohl Callies- Mrs. Wells Haley Eaton- Mr. Zimmer CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR 4TH GRADE STUDENTS! |
