If you did not receive a telephone call to inform you of the snow days, please call the office to find out what number we have for you. If you have changed your telephone number, you will need to call the office to have us change your number. If you do not have a telephone, you can find snow closings on the following radio or television stations: KMOX 1120 AM WBGZ 1570 AM KTVI CHANNEL 2 KMOV CHANNEL 4 KSDK CHANNEL 5 If bad weather develops during the day, district administration will use their best judgment for the safety and welfare of the pupils. If school is dismissed early, the radio stations will be notified and parents will also be contacted through the School Reach parent communication system. (It is suggested that you discuss with your child what should be done if school is dismissed early.) |
 In October Tracy Wallace, parent volunteer, won the Merit Award for The Those Who Excel. He and his wife, Belinda went up to Peoria to receive his award. Tracy earned this award by being a valuable community volunteer here at East. He volunteers in the classroom, helps with PTO, and he volunteers to help with Bethalto East's Mentor Lunch Program. Tracy is an excellent leader in the community and an outstanding role model for the children. Congratulations Tracy!! |
