Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) is hosting the Metro East Illinois Regional College Fair (IRCF) on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 from 6-8pm!

We are excited to invite members of the community to meet with college & university representatives from up to 100 institutions from Illinois, Missouri, and across the nation.

This is a great opportunity for members of our community to speak with colleges and universities from states all across the map; saving both time and money, while supplying them with information about admissions requirements, programs of study, campus life, and more.

This event is free and open to all high school students, current college transfer students, non-traditional degree seekers and their families – not just for seniors!

Hello, The nurses are trying to schedule an event with SIHF healthcare for students to get physicals/sports physicals and immunizations completed for next year. We are hoping to coordinate this event with the residential checks taking place on July 23rd at CM. SIHF healthcare is requiring us to have 18 people committed to come to this event before it can officially be scheduled. We wanted to put this out to see if we can get the 18 appointments they are requiring. We have attached the link to the form that needs to be completed to attend the event. https://sihfforms.org/school-consent-form/ If anyone has a student or knows of someone who needs an updated physical and/or immunizations please complete this form and submit it. As far as cost is concerned, SIHF will bill insurance first and if you do not have insurance the self-pay cost is $25. If the student is homeless or their family is really struggling at the moment and cannot afford the $25 fee, then they have a sliding fee scale that can go all the way down to $0 in some cases. We know it is difficult to commit to an event that does not have an official date yet, but if you sign up and the date does not work for you there is no additional fee for not attending.
